About Us

The Wood Marketing Federations mission is to promote wood as a renewable, sustainable and versatile natural material.

It carries out a number of major projects including:

  • Wood Awards Ireland
  • ITIC – Irish Timber Information Centre
  • The Third Level Students Wood Awards
  • Wood promotion to general and specialist audiences
  • The Woodspace pavilion at export and other shows
  • Publication of Woodspec – A Guide to Designing, Detailing and Specifying Timber
  • Research, seminars and workshops
  • Support to members in timber exports – use of specially commissioned exhibition space – Woodspace
  • Wood promotional and educational literature
